Hōjō Cup / Plovers over Waves (Nami-chidori)

This Hōjō-hai (Cup of Abundance) features a graceful Nami-chidori motif—plovers flying above stylized waves—symbolizing perseverance and harmony, as small birds bravely navigate great waters.

Traditional patterns are delicately painted on the inside of this guinomi (sake cup), each imbued with heartfelt wishes.
Crafted in Wajima-nuri lacquerware, this cup develops a deeper luster and character with continued use.
Perfect not only for special occasions but also for savoring your daily evening sake at a relaxed pace.
