Following the earthquake, we entrusted the artisans with full freedom of expression.
Each piece reflects the heartfelt desire of the individual craftspeople to create something meaningful as part of the recovery process.
A plump, graceful plum blossom is expressed through lacquer painting and raden (mother-of-pearl inlay).
After use, please gently wipe the raden areas with care.

This round plate features a graceful Ume (plum blossom) motif, symbolizing renewal, perseverance, and the coming of spring in Japanese culture.
