Maki-e Tumbler / Wind God and Thunder God (Fūjin Raijin)

After the earthquake, we undertook this project with the intention of preserving the craft of maki-e artisans.
Coincidentally, we had the opportunity to exhibit it at a trade show in the United States, where it was well received, leading to its commercialization.
The glass used is a thin, high-quality glass from Kimura Glass.

This striking tumbler features a dynamic maki-e design of Fūjin (the Wind God) and Raijin (the Thunder God), iconic deities in Japanese mythology known for their power and protective presence.

Please note that this item is not dishwasher safe, as it may cause the maki-e to peel or the glass to break.
