Maki-e Dinner Glass / Personalization
Inspired by the lacquer used in the gold leaf application at Kyoto's Kinkaku-ji Temple, we finished the maki-e glassware with gold leaf for a splendid finish.
Applying high-quality lacquer to the exterior allows the inner splendor of gold leaf to be luxuriously appreciated from within (black lacquer is visible from the outside, while gold leaf and the name are visible from the inside).
Each piece is meticulously handcrafted by artisans and features personalized lettering using gold leaf and lacquer. Therefore, we operate on a made-to-order basis. They are ideal as special gifts featuring names or company logos.
Production requires a minimum of two months.
Glasses with a tapered rim are ideal for enjoying the color and aroma of wine, whiskey, green tea, and other beverages.
Dishwashers may cause lacquer to peel or glasses to break, so we do not recommend their use.
